I was a little skeptical buying this after seeing it on Tiktok but I'm so happy I took the leap of faith! I bought the Evermist Diffuser and the Santal scent together and it smells AMAZING. The scent is powerful so I use it in my living room. I think it would be too much for my car like how I saw it advertised so I would definitely recommend diffusing this scent inside your home or office. I would describe it as sophisticated, fresh and bold. I can't wait to try the other scents!
Santal is a must have scent in your aromatherapy collection. Just as you have different colognes or perfumes to suit your mood or occasion, you need to have different scents and diffusers lined up for your living space. Enter Santal. If you haven't smelled Santal before, you are in for a treat. While I am not a nose (yes, it is a thing), I enjoy smelling different scents. Some of the finest perfumers in the world have fragrances based on Santal.
The scent easily fills your room and will stick with you as a faint reminder. When I first received the bottle, I opened it and took a gentle sniff. I thought it was strong and keep it diffused at the lowest setting in my living room for an hour. I plan to try Coastal Breeze when it's back in stock!
It’s always tricky buying fragrance products sight (scent?) unseen. No matter how detailed or vivid the description, there’s a personal preference aspect that can only be addressed when you’ve finally got your nose to the bottle. It all comes down to a subjective, “Do I like the way this smells?” and for this product, my answer is “yes, I do!”
I’m no fragrance expert, and I lack a nose sophisticated enough to discern and identify all the “notes” involved in the scent. However, the overall feeling I get is of a warm, earthy fragrance with a hint of herbaceousness that is very inviting and appealing. Sandalwood and musk are two of my favorite scents. If I had to give the scent a descriptive label, I would call it “sophisticated coziness.”
It's quite robust with a strong, more manly aroma that probably comes from the sandalwood accents. With the Evermist diffuser, the smell travels across an entire level of a home so I suggest setting the mist at a lower setting. Luckily it dissipates quite nicely and you don’t get a giant waft of the scent where it permeates closest to the diffuser.
Overall, it’s a pleasant smell made more towards a male audience, but anyone can enjoy it.
I am always hesitant to buy fragrances online without being able to smell them first. Luckily, this one is a hit! The fragrance notes are spot on. It smells leathery, woodsy and fresh all at the same time.
